New York Hotels advice please
Hiya, off to New York end of March for a few nights. So many hotels to choose from so recommendations welcome please. Somewhere central - four or five star please...thanks in advance.

Stayed in The Standard - East Village couple weeks ago. Although Downtown means you can get out and about with ease.

I was on 19th Floor and the views were incredible. Didn't eat in there but the bar is very Shoreditch like.

Stayed in Hotel Pennsylvania - cheap and cheerful, if you plan to spend little time in the hotel it was perfect.

Stayed in:

The Hudson (Philippe Starck designed interior. Small rooms but so are most NY hotels).

The Standard (Boutique Hotel, nice bar)


Also consider renting an apartment with AIRBNB

Best Western Herald sq, where I stayed last.

Free wi fi and breakfast, which you won't get at many places.

Depends on budget and where you want to be. Most others have suggested decent options. Personally I would air bnb it though, you could get an entire apt for price of a hotel room.
